Mullet Madness

Fort Myers Beach is getting ready to flip the script on summer fun with the launch of its inaugural Mullet Madness Weekend, happening August 1–3, 2025. Blending the quirky charm of a “Redneck Riviera” with breezy Coastal Cool energy, this three-day island-wide event promises mullet tossing, look-alike contests, wild photo ops, and big-time giveaways.

For just $20, participants receive a commemorative Mullet Madness tank top and a trail card to track their progress across participating venues. Completed trail cards earn raffle tickets, with major prizes awarded on Sunday at Moss Marina. Credential pickup begins Friday at 9:00 AM at Current Riders and Sun n Fun.

Saturday, August 2

• 10:00 AM–4:00 PM – Island-Wide Mullet Toss Crawl
  • Multiple toss locations; 3 throws per person
  • Scores recorded directly on trail card
• Adult Joe Dirt Look-Alike Contest
  • Judging at Mr. Waves, Diva’s & Dolls, Lani Kai, and Tunaskin
  • 4:00 PM – Finals & Awards at Cabana’s (yes, there will be mullet on the menu!)
